Technical Information
The Managed Service Licence enables Licensees to own some active elements both in the fixed and the wireless networks. The active elements that would be owned by the Managed Service Licensee start from the cabinet-level in Fixed Access Network (FAN) and from the base station on the Radio Access Network (RAN) and its evolutions. The Managed Service Licensee shall not be allowed to own any core network elements. The Managed Service Licensee cannot provide services directly to an end-user but can provide ‘Networked Infrastructure” as a service to a licensed Operator.
