NCA Staff Participate in Fire Evacuation Drill at NCA Tower

October 20, 2026 – The National Communications Authority (NCA), in collaboration with the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), has conducted a fire evacuation simulation exercise for Head Office staff at the NCA Tower to assess the emergency preparedness and response of staff and tenants of the facility.

During the exercise, staff and tenants evacuated the building through designated emergency exits and assembled at designated assembly points in accordance with established safety procedures.

Although the target evacuation time was five (5) minutes, the exercise recorded an evacuation time of eleven (11) minutes, highlighting the need to improve response times and familiarise occupants with emergency evacuation procedures.
