Notice – Pre-Application Briefing on the Request for Applications for Spectrum Licences in the 700 MHz, 2.3 GHz and 3 GHz Mid Bands

July 24, 2026 – Further to its announcement of 16th July 2026 inviting applications for spectrum licences in the 700 MHz, 2.3 GHz and 3 GHz mid bands for the provision of mobile broadband services, including 5G, the National Communications Authority (NCA) wishes to notify prospective Applicants and other interested parties that a Pre-Application Briefing will be held as follows:

Date: Monday, 27^th July 2026

Time: 1:00 p.m.

Venue: NCA Tower, Accra

The Briefing will provide prospective Applicants with an opportunity to seek clarification on the Request for Applications (RFA) and the Selection and Award Procedure, including the spectrum lots available, eligibility criteria, application requirements, rollout obligations and the evaluation process.

Attendance is limited to entities eligible to apply under the RFA, namely licensed Mobile Network Operators, Mobile Virtual Network Operators, Broadband Wireless Access Providers, Internet Service Providers and 100% Ghanaian-owned new entrants, subject to the detailed eligibility requirements in the RFA.

Prospective Applicants wishing to attend must pre-register with the Authority by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, 24^th July 2026 by emailing info@nca.org.gh.  Attendance is subject to confirmation by the NCA.
