Broadspectrum Group Ltd Pays Courtesy Call on Director General of NCA

May 9, 2025 – Broadspectrum Group Limited (BSL) has paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the National Communications Authority (NCA), Rev. Ing. Edmund Yirenkyi Fianko at the NCA Tower in Accra to extend congratulations on his appointment and introduce the company’s leadership and operations.

The management team, led by Mr. Samuel Osew-Kwatia, briefed Rev. Ing. Fianko on BSL’s national infrastructure footprint and its subsidiary groups, emphasising their contribution to connectivity in Ghana. A key concern raised during the discussions was the persistent issue of fibre cuts across the country, which continue to impact service quality and delivery.

The company appealed for regulatory support and enhanced collaboration in addressing these disruptions and ensuring greater infrastructure protection.

Rev. Ing. Fianko thanked BSL for the visit and acknowledged the importance of robust fibre infrastructure to Ghana’s digital development. He noted his pleasure in seeing an indigenous Ghanaian company thriving in such a critical sector, and reaffirmed the NCA’s commitment to supporting local businesses and working together to strengthen Ghana’s digital infrastructure.
