Statement
The National Communications Authority (NCA) was established by an Act of Parliament, Act 524 in December 1996, which has been repealed and replaced by the National Communications Authority Act, 2008 (Act 769). The Authority is the statutory body mandated to license and to regulate electronic communications activities and services in the country.

The National Communications Authority (NCA) is committed to achieving the goals of the regulatory framework for electronic communications using the available regulatory tools. These goals are in line with the processes and trends which facilitate the development of the electronic communications industry and its service delivery.
This Charter defines our purpose and values as a regulator which includes who we are, what we do, and what we stand for to all stakeholders.
Right To Information (RTI) Manual
The purpose of the Right to Information Manual (The Manual) is to provide the public and information seekers with access to the types of information that are available within this institution. It reveals the various Divisions and structures within this institution and specific classes of information that can be obtained from each of them.
The manual has been complied in compliance with section 3 of the Right to Information Act, 2019 (Act 989). Inspection of this manual is not to attract any fee or charge since the manual only seeks to point users to the information available for access with this institution.
