• Rapporteur’s Report – International Symposium 2016

A two-day International Symposium on The Role of Regulation in ICT Development was organised
by the National Communications Authority (NCA), Ghana on the 18th and 19th July, 2016 at La Palm
Royal Beach Hotel as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations.

The main objectives of the symposium was to create the platform for telecommunications policymakers,
telecommunications regulators, user groups, experts and industry players to exchange
information and experiences on the issue of ICT deployment, as well as the global development of
ICT trends.
