Sierra Leone’s Telecom Regulator Benchmarks NCA

The National Communications Authority (NCA) on Monday 11th April, 2022 welcomed a four (4)-member delegation from the National Telecommunications Commission (NATCOM) of Sierra Leone, at the NCA Tower in Accra. The one-day visit, led by the Deputy Director General, Mr. Amara Brewah, was aimed at benchmarking some of the regulatory policies guiding some specific services in Ghana.

In a welcome remarks read on behalf of the Director General of NCA, Mr. Joe Anokye, the Deputy Director General for Technical Operations, Dr. Ezer Osei Yeboah-Boateng said that the NCA is pleased that NATCOM had reached out to benchmark some of its successes. He said in a digital technological era where innovation and the development of ICT infrastructure has become paramount, it is important for Telecom Regulators to share and discuss some of the regulations and guidelines which backs the services they regulate.
