NCA Turns Back the Clock with “Old School Day” Celebration Under NCA@30 Style Series
July 27, 2026: The National Communications Authority (NCA) marked a significant milestone in its 30th Anniversary celebrations on Friday, 27th June, 2026, bringing together staff from across its Head Office and Zonal Offices for a special engagement event under the NCA@30 Style Series.
Held at the NCA Tower in Accra, the programme was designed to promote staff interaction, teamwork and organisational cohesion, with the event running concurrently across the Head Office and Zonal Offices to ensure broad participation.
The event offered staff an opportunity to reflect on the remarkable evolution of Ghana’s communications sector and the NCA’s role in regulating and supporting the industry’s growth over the past three decades, while also celebrating the shared experiences and relationships that have defined the Authority’s journey.
To encourage collaboration across the Authority, staff participated in activities that brought together representatives from various divisions and zonal offices, fostering a spirit of unity and shared purpose.
Addressing staff at the event, the Deputy Director-General in charge of Managerial Operations, Mrs. Etta Mosore, said the celebration was an opportunity to recognise both the Authority’s achievements and the people who had contributed to its success over the past three decades.
“As we celebrate 30 years of the NCA, it is important that we not only reflect on our institutional achievements but also celebrate the people and shared experiences that have contributed to our journey. Music, culture and communication have always connected people, and today’s event reminds us that a strong organisation is built on collaboration, shared values and a sense of belonging,” she said.
The NCA@30 Style Series forms part of a broader calendar of activities commemorating the Authority’s 30th Anniversary, aimed at celebrating the institution’s legacy while strengthening staff engagement, fostering unity and reinforcing pride in the Authority’s continued contribution to Ghana’s communications sector.
