NCA Holds Motivational Session for 2025/2026 National Service Personnel
December 12, 2025: The National Communications Authority (NCA) has held a motivational engagement for the 2025/2026 National Service Personnel at the NCA Tower in Accra aimed at inspiring the Service Personnel to approach their service year with commitment, discipline and a strong sense of purpose.
Addressing the gathering, the Acting Director-General of the NCA, Rev. Ing. Edmund Y. Fianko, encouraged the National Service Personnel to take full advantage of the opportunity presented to them, stressing the importance of personal development, dedication to duty, and adding value wherever they are assigned. He shared his own experience as a former National Service Person at the Authority, highlighting that attitude, work ethic and reliability often matter more than academic background alone.

Strong performance can open doors beyond the Authority
– Rev. Ing. Edmund Y. Fianko
Rev. Ing. Fianko urged the Service Personnel to distinguish themselves through excellence, responsiveness and a genuine commitment to service, noting that strong performance can open doors beyond the Authority through recommendations and professional networks.
He further advised the Service Personnel to remain proactive, ask questions, and be willing to learn, stressing that humility, discipline, and a servant-hearted mindset are key to professional growth and long-term success.
Also, speaking at the event, the Acting Deputy Director-General in charge of Managerial Operations, Mrs. Etta Mosore, encouraged the National Service Personnel to trust the process, noting that everything happens for a reason. She advised them to allow life to take its natural course while taking their postings and responsibilities seriously.

Self-discipline, and staying true to oneself- Mrs. Etta Mosore
Mrs. Mosore urged the Service Personnel to be frank and truthful in their dealings, explaining that honesty and openness would enable supervisors and colleagues to better guide and support them throughout their service journey. She also emphasised the importance of setting clear goals and executing them through discipline, self-discipline and staying true to oneself.
She further encouraged punctuality, appropriate dressing and active contribution to the work of the Authority, reminding the Service Personnel that their conduct and commitment directly contribute to the success of the NCA.
The motivational session forms part of the NCA’s efforts to orient and support National Service Personnel as they begin their year of service, while reinforcing the Authority’s values of professionalism, integrity and excellence in public service.
