NCA Hosts Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) on a Benchmark Visit
February 19, 2025: The National Communications Authority (NCA) welcomed an eleven-member high-level delegation from the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) on 19th February, 2025, at the NCA Tower.
Led by Mr. Daud Suleman, Director General of MACRA, the delegation visited Ghana to study the technical framework of the NCA’s Broadcasting Monitoring Centre (BMC) as they work towards establishing a similar facility in Malawi.
Their focus was on leveraging the BMC’s capabilities to combat misinformation and disinformation, a crucial step in strengthening Malawi’s digital regulatory infrastructure.
