Accra Internet Exchange Pays Courtesy Call to Congratulate Ag. Director General
February 20, 2025: The National Communications Authority (NCA) hosted a three-member delegation from the Accra Internet Exchange (Accra-IX) and PAIX Data Centres on 14th February, 2025, at the NCA Tower on a courtesy visit. The purpose of the visit was to congratulate the Acting Director General, Rev. Ing. Edmund Yirenkyi Fianko, on his appointment.
Welcoming the delegation, Rev. Fianko emphasised the NCA’s unwavering commitment to fostering a fair and competitive telecommunications environment. He highlighted that the Authority remains dedicated to ensuring a level playing field for all operators, enabling them to grow, innovate, and deliver high-quality services to consumers. He further noted that the NCA continuously implements policies and regulatory measures designed to promote inclusivity, encourage investment, and enhance industry standards, ultimately contributing to the overall development of the telecommunications sector.
