NCA Staff Nominated to Serve on International Telecommunications Satellite Organisation (ITSO)
November 8, 2024—Three members of staff of the National Communications Authority (NCA) have been selected to serve in various positions at the International Telecommunications Satellite Organisation (ITSO).This follows Ghana’s invitation through the Ministry of Communications and Digitalisation (MoCD) to participate in the 41st Meeting of the Assembly of Parties of ITSO (AP-41) held at the American University Washington College of Law, USA.
ITSO is an intergovernmental organisation with 149 member states, that incorporates the principle set forth in Resolution 1721 (XVI) of the General Assembly of the United Nations, which established that communication by means of satellite should be available to the nations of the world as soon as practicable on a global and non-discriminatory basis.
