Madam Ama A. S. Daaku has over 15 years experience in the Telecommunications industry across a wide range of functions such as marketing, customer value management, acquisition, customer service, business development and product management.

From 2017 to 2020, Madam Daaku served as a Board member of the National Information Technology Agency (NITA). She is currently the Special Aide to the Chief of Staff at the Office of the President. In 2016, she served as both a Political Marketing Consultant as well as the General Manager for VOX Ghana, where her duties included managing her team to develop internet solutions for Ghana and other African countries.

Madam Daaku has rich experience in the telecommunications industry as she served in various capacities at Millicom Ghana Limited (tiGO) for about five years. As head of Customer Acquisition and Acting Commercial Head at Millicom Ghana Limited, she led the team that develops new acquisition offers for quality subscribers for both postpaid and prepaid services, as well as ensure the successful implementation of successful targeted sales pilots respectively. Other positions held at Millicom included Entertainment Category Manager and VAS Commercial Manager.

From 2006 to 2009, she worked with Tiscali in London UK as the Marketing and Product Manager where she led her team to increase the Tiscali IPTV coverage in London, expanded accessibility to British Telecom base sites and increased bandwidth provision thereby increasing subscriber base.

Madam Daaku holds a Master of Arts degree in Marketing Strategy from the University of Ghana, Legon   and a Master of Business Administration degree (Major in Finance) from the University of Leicester, UK. In addition, she has a certificate in Millicom Star Programme on Leadership from the London Business School in the United Kingdom.

For her undergraduate education, she studied Bachelor of Arts (Nutrition and Food Science) at the University of Ghana, Legon.
