Dr. Abdul Majeed Iddrisu

Abdul Majeed Iddrisu is currently the Acting Director of Information Communication and Technology at the National Communications Authority (NCA), a position he has held since April 2020, after previously serving as the Deputy Director of the same Division. Dr. Iddrisu is a distinguished technology professional with over fifteen years of experience specializing in technology, sales, commercialization, and the promotion of accessible technologies.

Notable among his achievements is the deployment of cloud-based communication tools that facilitated remote working during the pandemic, the upgrade of NCA’s network infrastructure, and the digitization of client records through a centralized database.

Before his leadership role at the NCA, he made significant contributions in academia as a full-time lecturer at the University of Professional Studies, Legon, where he taught various programs and supervised numerous student projects. His academic background includes a Doctor of Management from SMC University, Switzerland, and an LLB degree from Mountcrest University College, among other qualifications.
