NCA Invites Comments on Type Approval Regulations, 2019

The National Communications Authority (NCA) has published the draft Electronic Communications Equipment (Type Approval) Regulations, 2019 for stakeholders’ comments.  The Authority intends to introduce these Regulations to enforce Regulation 3 (n) of the National Communications Authority Act of 2008, Act 769 which empowers the NCA to certify and ensure the testing of Electronic Communications Equipment for compliance with international standards; and environmental health and safety standards including electromagnetic radiation and emissions.
